They were
founded back in 1992 and share a lot of their records with Alaska Pacific Branch
of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for the
County
of King.
They tell you who has what records.
They suggest that you review their online Historical Records Guide for
information, then contact the Archive staff for your research needs and to make
an appointment. Their website has been greatly improved and updated with lots of
good information and links. It is
well worth exploring.
Click on
Genealogy and you will find Historical Birth Records listings. They
also have information about
Historical Marriage records and

This archive
houses the records of the Seattle School District.
At their website they offer a description of the
services, picture gallery, location and hours, and links to student records and more.
It is best to contact them first with your request.
The archivist states that they have limited facilities for just browsing
their records and they have to retrieve them before you visit.
Be very friendly and patient.
